Biblical Counseling and Training Ministries

BCTM exists to make Christ the central point in any conversation as we seek to truly know the individual person in his struggle or suffering. We have a passion for personal change that is centered in the person of Christ. We have seen him bring significant change to individual lives. This passion is our heritage and heartbeat, and it leads us to constantly revisit the question, “How do the riches of the Gospel impact my life and my efforts to help others?” Everything we do flows from our desire to equip Christians to live and love in a Christ-centered way.

BCTM exists to help churches become equipped to provide that wise counsel internally. We believe that the body of Christ is God’s primary context for change, the community God uses to transform his people. BCTM’s mission is to equip the church to be this kind of transforming community. We see ourselves as an extension of the local church, and we want to serve and promote its ministry. The aim of our counseling offices and church partnerships is to fulfill this second goal.

Our goal is to help people explore the wisdom and depth of the Bible and apply its grace-centered message to the problems of daily living. Simply put, our mission is to make Christ the central point of any conversation and as we partner with various churches, help those churches become equipped to provide wise counsel internally where we should all be counselors.

 Testimonials

“In my opinion, BCTM is an excellent extension of the pastoral arm in the local church that we’re not adequately equipped to provide. We are humbled and grateful to have them alongside us in our effort to counsel and love Christ’s Church with biblical instruction and grace.”

Senior Pastor, Madison Heights Church

“We sought counseling at BCTM after an affair nearly destroyed our marriage. Through counseling, we are learning that marriage is a process toward holiness rather than just two people trying to find happiness in each other. We now see our marriage as the ultimate expression of restoration with our savior. I don’t know where we would be without the generosity of the donors who support BCTM.”

“I am very thankful to the Lord for bringing me to BCTM. The Lord has richly blessed me through the teaching of His Word that is applied to my current situation each time I come to BCTM. The truths from God’s Word spoken to me have pierced my heart and Jesus has been changing my heart and opening my eyes to the way He loves me as His child. I have received great encouragement from a fellow believer who points me to Jesus and comes alongside me in the battle. As a result of BCTM, I have grown spiritually and for the first time, I have a deeper understanding of God’s love and forgiveness.”

“BCTM has had the largest impact on my life in the last year. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to meet with Chase on a regular basis. Our marriage looks a lot different now than it did a year ago. Our friendships and relationships with our family are starting to look different, as well.”

“Chase Maxey and BCTM helped give us a reference point for beginning a marriage. They affirmed our belief that Christ is the foundation of marriage, and that we should always try our best to put Christ before each other in every circumstance.”
